Implement the Lessons Learned
A survey of parents indicated that almost 80% of the children whose families received computers are using them and the Internet to complete assignments at home. Over 170 teachers created web sites and used e-mail as a means of communicating with families. Greater than 60% of the families reported visiting teachers' websites to get important information. Nearly 100% of the parents use the computers themselves. They report that they are more comfortable with the technology but would like more opportunities to learn about computer use.

bulletImproved report card grades
bulletImproved completion rates, grades and quality of student work on long-term projects
bulletTime savings for teachers related to communication about student assignments
