Friday, July 25th 2008 a Q-Mix cookout to benefit Connected Community Partnership (CCP) was held at the Q-Mix Radio Station at 9th & Washington.

Approval by the IRS for 501(c)3 Status
Connected Community Partnership was approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) 3 organization on Friday June 29th 2007.
NP Connect‘s web hosting endeavor
Bartholomew County Bar Association‘s website was redesigned by NP Connect volunteers and hosted on Wednesday September 5th 2007.
Dancers Studio Inc. website was designed and developed by Rajesh Thyagarajan for NP Connect and hosted on Friday March 7th 2008.
A web based Volunteer Survey Application was developed by NP Connect volunteers for the Volunteer Action Committee. The team comprised of Abhijit and Sheetal Bharambe, Chris Price, Tom Baugh, Rajesh Thyagarajan, Ramaraju Indukuri. It was hosted on Saturday April 12th 2008.
Hoosier Youth ChalleNGe Academy Community Initiative
As a part of their Community Service program, thirty-five Hoosier Youth Challenge cadets worked all day on Saturday November 17th, 2007 helping the Executive Board consolidate all remaining equipment inside TRC. The cadets helped us test and move monitors stilled stored at United Way to our facility, place all usable monitors on shelves and non-working monitors in the recycle bin, sort and palletize massive numbers of keyboard and mice for recycle/disposal, recycle obsolete equipment, and sort copper cords to be taken to Kroots (generating a $525 profit!). These cadets graduated on December 8th 2008. Each of these cadets were given a Desktop from CCP as as another education program we are supporting and was distributed if they satisfy all program requirements, including returning after Thanksgiving break of 2007. Several cadets expressed interest in volunteering at TRC following their graduation. The CCP Executive Committee was invited to attend the HYCA graduation.
Cummins Every Employee Every Community (EEEC) Initiative
As a part of their Every Employee Every Community (EEEC) initiative, thirty Cummins employees worked on the afternoon of Friday March 28th, 2008 helping the Executive Board consolidate all the equipment inside TRC, test and place all usable monitors on shelves and non-working monitors in the recycle bin, recycle obsolete equipment like memory, Hard Disk Drives, cables etc., and sort copper cords and metal to be taken to Kroots (generating a $102 profit!).
Student Volunteer Program
As a part of our on going support to encourage young volunteers, the student volunteer program was reinitiated at CCP. Several students came over to our facility and had on hands training with the PC's and worked on imaging, hardware repairs and loading software.
Get On Board! Community Service Expo - 2nd annual GEM "Going the Extra Mile" Awards ceremony honoring volunteers
